Welcome to the Lipscombe Lab website
The Lipscombe Lab studies the role of voltage-gated calcium (CaV) channels in setting neuronal excitability and in controlling intracellular calcium. We study how calcium ion channel expression regulates specific neuronal functions and how they contribute to disorders of the nervous system including chronic pain, migraine disorders, ALS, and psychiatric illness.
