Oral and Poster Presentation Information

Poster Presentations

The poster sessions are on Monday (odd # posters) and Tuesday (even # posters) from 4:30 to 6:00 pm.

Please display your poster on the poster board corresponding to your poster number (see abstract book) on Sunday. Please remove your poster before the end of the conference.

The maximum size available for each poster is 45” x 45” (1.14 x 1.14 meters) so please keep your poster within these size limits.

You will need to arrange to print your own poster.  We suggest that you print your poster on fabric that can be folded into your luggage for travel. An alternative would be to print the poster near the conference site and pick it up after you arrive. This FedEx office is near the conference and provides poster printing. Conference organizers will not be able to help with poster pickup or setup.

Oral Presentations

Oral presentations will be presented from a single laptop (PC) using Powerpoint.

Speakers will need to load their presentations onto the laptop from a USB data storage device during the break preceding the session. Speakers in the first session will need to arrive at the auditorium at least 15 minutes early to make sure their presentations are loaded onto the laptop.

Presentation timing – it is very important that all speakers stay within their allotted time. Time will be kept. Speakers will be notified when they have 2 minutes remaining in their allotted time. At the end of time, the speaker will be asked to stop.

Invited Speakers: 20 minute presentation, 5 minutes for discussion

Speakers selected from submitted abstracts: 12 minute presentation, 3 minutes of discussion

Flash Talk Presentations

Please prepare one Powerpoint slide and present for a maximum of two minutes. Use the slide template sent by Daphne Goring and email the slide to Daphne by Wednesday July 3rd.
