2007 PhD Physics from Brown

Dapeng graduated with a PhD in physics in 2007, working both on carbon nanotubes and on flexible metal interconnects.

His PhD thesis was entitled Electronic Transport and Potential Applications of 1D and 2D Granular Nanotubes and Metals, including publications on flexible In metal interconnects, CNT Y-junctions as natural double-barrier structures, and a well-cited paper on hopping transport in multiwalled CNTs.

After Brown he joined Applied Materials and then a series of high-tech companies, ending up at RK Solar in California.
