2004 PhD Physics from Brown

Cagri graduated in 2004. He worked on CMOS-compatible TFETs, with a productive side venture into motheye pattering of semiconductor surfaces.

His PhD thesis was entitled Silicon Based Tunneling Devices Combined with Silicon-on-Insulator for Ultra-Large-Scale Integration, and contained an influential early publication on modern SOI TFETs

After Brown, he initially left physics for a position in the financial sector with Fidelity Investments, but subsequently returned as a data scientist, currently at Dell EMC.
