2016 PhD Physics from Brown
Peng graduated with a PhD in physics in 2016. He worked on several nanowire-related projects, including nanowire solar cell arrays and tunneling transistors.
His PhD thesis was entitled Nanowire Solar Cell Arrays and Tunneling Transistors with Negative Transconductance and High Current Drive, with publications on strong negative transconductance in nanowire TFETs and a deeply-researched paper on dense axial nanowire solar cell arrays (a collaboration with D. Pacifici’s group at Brown and A. Davydov’s group at NIST-Gaithersburg).
After Brown he moved on to Sandisk to work on 3D flash memory technology and is currently with Western Digital in California.
