2018 PhD EE from Brown [co-advised by Domenico Pacifici]

Stelios joined us from the National Technical University of Athens.  He worked on Ge quantum dot photodetectors and Si nanowire solar cells, with an excursion into perovskite solar cells.

He defended his PhD thesis, entitled Silicon/Germanium and Perovskite Optoelectronic Devices for Photodetection and Photovoltaics in August of 2018, publishing several studies on high-performance quantum dot photodetectors along the way, including their noise performance.

Stelios went on to a post-doc at Columbia Univ. with John Kymissis and is now working at the Lelantos start-up in New York.
