On October 5th, 2023, graduate students, research engineers, and faculty participated and attended the annual Lifespan Research Day at Rhode Island Hospital. They were able to discuss current research advancements taking place in the field of Orthopedics in our Bioengineering Lab at Coro West. Dominique Barnes, a current third year Ph.D. candidate in Dr. Braden Flemings lab, was awarded the Lifespan Innovation Award for her research involving “Post-Surgical Artifact Correction in MR Imaging by Deep Neural Networks.”
