It has been wonderful being your colleague here at Brown. I’ll never forget us making music together in Berlin on the Jazz Band tour. That was a real joy for me, and made me feel so welcomed in my first year at Brown, playing with you and the students on tour. You’ve helped build such a vibrant community for jazz performance and composition here at Brown. It has enriched us all. Thank you and my warmest congratulations on your retirement!
