Natalia Román Alicea is the Program Coordinator at the Global Brown Center for International Students at Brown University, where she facilitates undergraduate programming for international students focused on community building, navigating campus resources, and identity development. Prior to Brown, Natalia was an assistant director at the Fries Center for Global Studies at Wesleyan University and a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Cali, Colombia. Natalia has a BA in Applied Communication from Kent State University and an MA in Communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she also taught undergraduate courses in intercultural communication, communication theory, and public speaking.
