Building Culture: Utilizing the “Third Place” to Create Community (Wellness Building Multipurpose Room)

Fall 2021: a full return to campus, a relocation to a brand-new building designed with wellness in mind, and five Health & Wellness departments learning to function as a collective entity. During this period, a team with an asset-based mindset continues to navigate COVID nuances and prioritize campus safety while the natural momentum of life looks beyond the pandemic. This session highlights how Brown Health & Wellness is using its new environment to educate students, celebrate staff, serve the community, and build its brand; and how these shared experiences in our space reinforce the importance and purpose within our work.
