Banned Histories offers a brief, targeted look at what revisionist history is and does. Although not it does not explicitly explore the role that access to money and financial capital plays in access to speech, the imbalance of power given to those with an inordinate amount of resources–whether political, financial, academic, or otherwise–is a theme present throughout the scenarios and topics addressed here. It goes without saying that money, and the constant, capitalism-driven urge for pursuing and accumulating profit, directs the trajectory of our society in ways that affect everyone. Banned Histories tries to examine a few broad areas in which such influence is present and shaping our daily lives.
