Gio received a BS degree in Chemistry from Rhode Island College (2020). Gio is a PhD candidate in Chemistry. Gio’s artwork was selected for the American Chemical Society Publication’s Diversity and Inclusion Cover Art Series! Her cover artwork and her accompanying editorial “My Discovery of Science” are featured in Journal of Organic Chemistry and Organic Letters.
