Deliver-EE research partners will be working together to answer important questions for Meals on Wheels Programs and their clients. New findings may also emerge as data continues to be collected.

Question one
Do you stay in your home?
Are study participants who receive meals delivered daily by a paid or volunteer driver who visits with them and provides an informal wellness check more likely to stay in their home versus spending time in an institutional setting (like a hospital or nursing home) compared to participants who have their meals mailed to their house?

Do you feel secure in your access to food?
Are participants who receive meals delivered daily by a paid or volunteer driver more likely to report feeling secure in their access to food and nutrition compared to participants whose meals are mailed to them?
Question three
Do you feel less lonely?
Do participants who have meals delivered to their home each day report feeling less lonely than participants whose meals are mailed to them?

Does your health improve?
Are participants who receive meals delivered to their home daily more likely to report improvements in their health compared to participants whose meals are mailed to them?
Question five
Do you eat healthier?
Do participants who have meals delivered to their home each day report that they are now eating healthier than before the meals began? Do participants who have meals mailed to their homes report eating healthier after meals began?

Do you have overall better outcomes?
Do participants who receive meal delivery services that align with their preferences have overall better outcomes?
