Welcome to the IAMSBIRT Learning Community!
IAMSBIRT stands for Implementing Alcohol Misuse Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment. The goal of this training initiative is to help staff at pediatric trauma centers to integrate SBIRT into routine practice. IAMSBIRT is a partnership with 10 pediatric trauma centers across the country that is funded by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. Learn more about the IAMSBIRT initiative.
The IAMSBIRT learning community has separate tracks for Nurses, Social Workers, and Site Leaders at participating pediatric trauma centers. Find out more about each staff member’s role.
