I am an Associate Professor at Brown University. Before that, I was a Distinguished Researcher at the University of Barcelona. Before that, I was an Instructor and an Assistant Professor at Princeton.

Research

My research interests are on the boundary between analysis, partial differential equations, fluid mechanics, spectral geometry, numerical computation, machine learning and rigorous computer-assisted proofs.

Quanta Magazine wrote a piece (‘Deep Learning Poised to ‘Blow Up’ Famed Fluid Equations’) on my recent work with Tristan Buckmaster, Ching-Yao Lai and Yongji Wang. See coverage by Quanta Podcast and El País as well.

I have been recently awarded the Antonio Ambrosetti Medal, the Antonio Valle Prize, the Vicent Caselles Prize, and the Princeton Junior Faculty Teaching award.

I hold a CRM Aisenstadt Chair in the Fall of 2024.

I was honored with an ERC Starting Grant between 2020 and 2022. My research is now supported by NSF.
