5/5/2023 Aaron gave his final thesis presentation entitled ‘Formation of [Fe-S] Core by Persulfides: Frameworks for [Fe-S] Cluster Repair’. Congratulations, Aaron!
4/25/2023 Dr. Camly Tran, a Brown PhD alumna from 2014 and a former member of our lab, gave a seminar as part of the ‘Brown Chemistry Distinguished Alumni Speaker Series’. It was great to see you, Camly!
4/17/2023 Aaron competed in the famous Boston Marathon, the world’s oldest annual marathon, and one of the world’s best-known road racing events. He finished in 37th place with a time of 2:21:43. Just amazing. Congratulations, Aaron!

3/26/2023 – 3/30/2023 Ziyi, John, and Aaron attended the American Chemical Society (ACS) National Meeting in Indianapolis, IN.
- Ziyi gave a talk on ‘Reactivity, mechanism, and active intermediate of binuclear u-oxo Mo(V) catalyzed sulfur atom transfer reaction’.
- John presented a poster entitled ‘Utilizing autocatalytic reactions to realize multilayer digital circuits’.
- Aaron presented a poster entitled ‘Formation of iron-sulfur clusters by persulfides’.
3/24/2023 Stephen has been selected to participate in the Open Graduate Education program to pursue a master’s degree in Data Science alongside his PhD in Chemistry. Congratulations, Stephen!
