images made within Kiosk

One of the cool things about a tablet is of course that it allows you to make text, numbers, and images. It has a camera. It has a sketch tool. It has a drawing editor. It can be loaded with extra software for vector drawings.

One of the cool things about Kiosk is that, running on an iPad, it helps you make all the right kinds of texts and numbers and images and relate them to one another seamlessly. The image containers found in nearly every corner of Kiosk’s recording app are your ticket to one of the biggest differences between paper and digital recording.

Once an image container is created, clicking in it brings up the iPad’s image tools. You can take a photo or make a quick sketch (using the signature tool) without leaving Kiosk.

Have you ever made your own FileMaker database for a project, large or small? Then you know linking images to records is one of its delights. But unless you are a serious geek you also might know that linking more than one image to any given record is not what it is set up to do. We have a serious geek on board. We did that for you. If it takes ten photos and two drawings to document a context, you can.
