Who can participate? – The LDP is for emerging and current leaders from the addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery profession in New England as well as behavioral health, criminal justice, and other healthcare professionals. You can view a full list of requirements on our Admissions page.

What is the application process like? – The application process consists of three parts: (1) a general application, (2) a supervisor reference, and (3) a 30-minute interview.

What is the program duration? – For the hybrid cohort, there are 10 days total that are typically spread out over 6 – 9 weeks. View the program schedule for Cohort 10.

Is the program fully virtual? We are pleased to offer a hybrid model program with face-to-face and virtual sessions for Cohort 10. Our team is constantly evaluating public health policies and guidance from the CDC, the New England region, and our internal organizations. In the event we are no longer able to conduct face-to-face meetings due to safety concerns, at any point before or during the program, we will conduct all meetings in a virtual format and tuition costs will be reevaluated accordingly. This cohort’s in-person sessions will take place both in Concord, New Hampshire, and Worcester, Massachusetts respectively.

What are your COVID-19 Policies for face-to-face sessions? You can view our full policies and agreements on our COVID Safety Policies page.

Technology FAQs:

What platform do you use for virtual sessions? – The LDP team uses the Zoom platform for all virtual sessions.

Why do I need a Gmail email? – The LDP uses Google Suite – including Google Classroom – as the main resource/information center.  To join the Google Classroom account for each cohort, and to participate most effectively, a Gmail account is required.

Tuition FAQs:

If we return to a fully virtual format will my program costs change? Yes, in the event we are no longer able to conduct face-to-face meetings due to safety concerns, at any point before or during the program, we will conduct all meetings in a virtual format and tuition costs will be reevaluated accordingly.

Why is there a range in cost for the program? Overall program costs are based on two main factors: tuition and lodging for face-to-face retreats. If you are within commuting distance of the retreats and do not need lodging for those sessions, your overall program cost is adjusted accordingly. View full tuition information on our Tuition page.
