Study Safety
Here at the Mind & Heart Lab, we have put in place practical guidelines to prevent ourselves and our clients from the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus)
Participants
The day before their scheduled visit, all participants are screened for Covid-19 symptoms (cough, sore throat, fever, chills, diarrhea, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell), and possible exposure to Covid-19 during the previous 2 weeks. Study participants are encouraged to wear a surgical mask during the visit. The study will provide masks if needed.
The Visit Room
Before and after each visit our staff cleans all surfaces and instrumentation using a disinfectant effective on SARS-CoV-2.
Staff
All staff will follow hospital protocol surrounding PPE usage. Before and after each visit staff washes hands with soap and water (for at least 20 seconds) and/or use hand sanitizer. Study participants are encouraged to wear a surgical mask during the visit. The study will provide masks if needed.
