Mount Hope is a full-length LP written, recorded, performed and produced by Kyle Brier. The album includes 6 songs with lyrics partially inspired by interviews conducted over the course of the writing process. The record primarily features acoustic guitar, piano, analog synthesizer elements sourced from the ARP 2500 and Moog Synthesizers, digital wavetable sounds, and voice. Thematically, Mount Hope explores the experience of growing into adulthood within an increasingly confusing and troubling society that systematically abuses nature, technology and itself. It also aims to acknowledge and ease the listeners’ anxieties about our collective futures on this planet through honest recapitulations of real conversations surrounding the topic. If the message of the album were to be reduced to a few words, it would go something like this: You are not alone in your fears about the future, and that, alone, is reason enough to hope.

Mount Hope will be released in the fall of 2021 on Spotify, Bandcamp, Youtube and Apple Music.
