Robert is a physician researcher and public health pediatrician based at Unity Health Care, Inc and Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Robert is also a certified nature and forest therapy guide. He previously served as the advisor to the National Park Service on park prescriptions. In 2017 Dr. Zarr founded Park Rx America, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that has the mission to decrease the burden of chronic disease, increase health and happiness, and foster environmental stewardship, by prescribing Nature during the routine delivery of health care.You will often find him walking or hiking on nearby trails and spending time near his neighborhood trees.
