Dr. Viniece Jennings is a purpose driven scholar, speaker and consultant. She is nationally recognized for her innovative research on urban green spaces and public health. Her research was selected as ‘top research for practice’ by the National Recreation and Parks Association. She is also a JPB Environmental Health Fellow at Harvard University’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She currently serves as the Deputy Director for the NOAA Center for Coastal and Marine Ecosystems led by Florida A&M University. She previously served as an assistant professor at Agnes Scott College, research scientist with the federal government and intern at the White House Council on Environmental Quality with the Obama Administration.
