Black History Month Celebration with Brown Physics
Join us as we spend the day in reflection of how much Black physicists have achieved and how far we have to go. We will be celebrating Black History Month by highlighting and showcasing prominent Black physicists who have made important contributions to the field. Special thanks to the Department of Physics and the Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity for sponsoring this event.

NSBP 2023 Annual Conference
A few of our members including Farrah Simpson, Rutendo Jakachira and Tats Daniel, as well as one of our advisors and postdoc Joshua Burrow, attended the NSBP 2023 Annual Conference November 9-12, 2023. They participated in organizing the conference, presented their research and engaged with other physics professionals. They also had a coffee hour with Dr. David Spergel, president of the Simons Foundation and one of the keynote speakers at the conference.

The Brown University NSBP Chapter will be attending the 2023 NSBP Annual Conference in Knoxville, Tennessee on November 9th-12th. Check out our members at last year’s conference.
