Postdoctoral fellowship in Risk and Resilience in Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease [FILLED]

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to study the effects of genetic risk and early developmental challenges on neurocognitive mechanisms that may delay the onset of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) pathology and moderate the impact of AD pathology on cognitive performance in nondemented older adults. For interested applicants, please email a brief description of research background and career goals, and CV with a list of references to Dr. Hwamee Oh at hwamee_oh@brown.edu.

Residents and Brown NSGP Graduate Students

Dr. Oh will accept a rotation student from Brown NSGP in Fall 2024.

To prospective Ph.D. students: In the Neuroscience program, students do 2-3 lab rotations in the first year and then choose a lab. The program has an admissions committee, and Dr. Oh does not decide who is admitted. The committee weighs research products (i.e., papers, conference presentations), undergraduate records, clarity of research goals, and research fit with faculty. For more detailed information on how to apply for the Brown Neuroscience Graduate program, please check here

Undergraduate Research Assistants

Currently, there is no open undergraduate RA positions in the lab. For undergraduate students interested in gaining research experience in human memory, brain aging, and Alzheimer’s disease, please email Dr. Hwamee Oh to inquire about research projects in the beginning of the next semester.
