  • Pennell gave two invited talks related to PFAS at the University Consortium Meeting; “Experimental and Modeling Investigations of PFAS Fate and Transport in AFFF Source Zones” and “Development of Injectable Sorbents for In Situ Sequestration of PFAS”.
  • Submitted a patent application for “In situ remediation of pfas-contaminated groundwater” using injectable powdered activated carbon (US Patent App. 16/645,026).
