Congratulations to Dr. Audrey Tyrka on her appointment as Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown Medical School! Dr. Tyrka is co-director of the Stress, Trauma and Resilience (STAR) Center for Biomedical Research Excellence. She is an accomplished researcher on effects of early life adversity on mechanisms of risk for poor health, and a valued mentor and collaborator.
