Racial/ethnic minoritized populations with opioid use disorder (OUD) use opioid agonist therapy (OAT) at lower rates. This study interviewed patients with OUD not on OAT: commonly cited barriers to OAT among racial/ethnic minorities were distrust of OAT and anticipated stigma. To address the needs of this population, culturally-tailored interventions are needed.
