Olivia Angé is a professor of anthropology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. She specializes in the study of agriculture, value creation, and relatedness in the Andes. Since 2021, she has conducted ethnographic research on human-seed relations as the Principal Investigator of the ERC Starting Grant SeedsValues, which compares three agrobiodiversity hotspots: maize in Mexico, rice in Laos, and potatoes in Peru.
