Shontae Elliott

Shontae is a research assistant with the Marketplace study.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Carlow University in 2006.  She worked at the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in Pittsburgh doing work as an in-patient therapist, and later as a research assistant on depression and suicide studies. Shontae’s future goals include obtaining her PhD in the Cognitive Neuroscience program at Brown University, after which she hopes to design and conduct her own studies. Outside of research, her hobbies include traveling around the world, gardening, and soapmaking.
