Mary Ellen Fernandez
Research Assistant
Mary Ellen is a research assistant working within the SHARe team alongside Dr. Alexander Sokolovsky. Within SHARe, she works in the THRU Lab, which focuses its research on tobacco harm reduction and use. As part of the THRU Lab, Mary Ellen works on two different research studies: SWAP and Project DUET. Her research interests include young adults, substance use and harm reduction. She received her B.A. in Psychology and minored in Justice Studies at Rhode Island College. Mary Ellen hopes to continue her education in the very near future to receive an M.S.W. (Master of Social Work).
