- Adult smoking research study
- We are investigating whether HIV-positive smokers, who are unwilling or unable to quit smoking, will substitute an electronic cigarette for regular cigarettes, and to examine whether there are any changes in heart and lung health in smokers who switch from regular cigarettes to electronic cigarettes.
- Adult smokers age 18+ who are diagnosed with HIV and smoke at least 5 cigarettes per day are needed.
- You will receive (at no cost) an electronic cigarette and electronic cigarette liquid each week for 6 weeks.
- You may receive up to $210 for completing 5 study sessions.

About: We are looking for volunteers who use cigarettes and e-cigarette products to take part in a confidential research study at Brown University.
Time Involved: Participation involves answering questionnaires, completing a brief medical screening, visiting our lab located in Providence for 3 in-person sessions and completing surveys on your mobile phone for 4 weeks.
