NIPR Martian Meteorites

Visible and Near-Infrared Spectral Survey of Martian Meteorite Chips Stored at the National Institute of Polar Research

This is a compilation of photographs and VNIR reflectance spectral data of Martian meteorites stored at NIPR measured while Takahiro Hiroi was a visiting professor at NIPR during the summer of 2010.  The project was later funded by the Japanese Government grant (JSPS KAKENHI Grant Number 24540493).  The detailed results were published as:

T. Hiroi, H. Kaiden, K. Misawa, T. Niihara, H. Kojima, S. Sasaki (2011) Visible and near-infrared spectral survey of Martian meteorites stored at the National Institute of Polar Research.  Polar Sci. 5, 337-344.
