Welcome to my relatively new web page (under construction)
I am a topologist, particularly interested in manifolds, homotopy theory, and various relations between manifolds and homotopy theory. I like to use categories and functors and natural maps.
When and where to find me
Office: Kassar 212 (151 Thayer St., Providence, RI 02912)
During the semester I am on campus on Tuesdays, Thursdays, almost all Wednesday afternoons, occasional Fridays and rare Mondays.
Teaching
In Fall of 2024 I taught Math 2410, an introductory graduate-level course in algebraic topology.
In Spring of 2025 I taught Math 2720W, a graduate topics course on K-theory (mostly the algebraic kind).
In Fall of 2025 I will be teaching Math 2110, a graduate-level introduction to smooth manifolds. It will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30-11:50 in Kassar 105.
