Brianna Krause
From 2017-2023 I was a number of roles within the lab. Beginning as a Research Assistant and working up to Project Coordinator my time in the lab allowed me to gain invaluable experience of all the working parts of a clinical trial/ research study, from study start up all the way to data analysis and publication. Working in the lab I always felt heard and as though I was a valuable member of the team. I am proud of the work that came out of this lab during my time there and the work that continues to come out of this lab after I am gone. My experience at Brown has shaped my core values about research, understanding the value in the data produced and how it impacts society.I have since gone on to work in research on nutritional supplements for pain management and I am currently working in medical device research focused on organ transplants.

Kristin Rogers
Kristin Rogers is a Project Coordinator at the Center for Alcohol Addiction Studies. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in mathematics from Western New England University in 2015 and a Master of Science in Organizational Psychology from the University of Hartford in 2019. Since joining CAAS in 2019 she has worked on several clinical trials and various other research projects. Her research interests focus on trauma and the behavioral and physiological effects of substance use and related disorders. She enjoyed her time with the THW team and was grateful to be a part of the study start up phase of their projects.

Dr. Andrea Wycoff
Dr. Andrea Wycoff is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology, with a quantitative minor in Psychological Statistics and Methods, from the University of Missouri in 2022. Following this, she completed her clinical internship and a postdoctoral fellowship at Brown University. During her internship and postdoc, Andrea received mentorship from Dr. Treloar Padovano and worked with the lab to understand cannabis craving in response to alcohol cues among adolescents and young adults, both in laboratory and daily-life settings. This research provided insights into cross-cue reactivity, which has implications for addiction treatment. Andrea now leads the Substance Use in Daily Life Lab at the University of Missouri, where she draws on her training and collaborations with the lab to understand alcohol-cannabis co-use among adolescents in community-based treatment. Working with Hayley and the lab shaped Andrea’s growth not only as a researcher but also as a collaborator and friend. Andrea hopes to carry forward shared values like kindness and thoughtfulness as she starts to grow her own lab.

Dr. Jamie Parnes
Dr. Jamie Parnes is a postdoctoral fellow at Brown University and Bradley Hospital, and will be starting as an Assistant Professor of clinical psychology at University of Massachusetts Amherst in January 2026. Dr. Parnes joined Dr. Treloar Padovano’s lab in 2020 as a predoctoral intern and continued participating throughout his postdoctoral fellowships. His role in the lab was contributing to ongoing research projects through helping design protocols, select measures, and discussing analytic techniques. Dr. Treloar Padovano also served as a mentor on his NIDA F31 and K99 awards, where she provided mentorship on EMA methods, data analysis, research design and execution, and bolstered his professional development. Through these experiences, Dr. Parnes received invaluable mentorship, built expertise across several key areas (e.g., data analysis), and gained a lifelong friend and collaborator.
