Dr Eva Nabawanuka is a practicing radiologist at Uganda’s largest
tertiary referral hospital and teaching facility for Makerere University in
the capital, Kampala. She obtained both undergraduate and graduate
professional training from Makerere University and recently led efforts to
develop a two year local training curriculum for Interventional Radiology
(IR). She is currently the chief IR fellow, part of the pioneer class of 3
which graduates in August 2025.
Eva is a passionate clinician, medical educator and researcher with
several peer reviewed publications. She is a wife and a mother who
loves the finer things in life, chocolate, travelling and serving people.
