Our current research interests focus on mechanisms of metabolism, mitochondrial dysfunction, and cellular senescence in chronic lung diseases including bronchopulmonary dysplasia, Down Syndrome, and pulmonary hypertension as well identification of therapeutic targets for these diseases. The laboratory employes multidisciplinary approaches, including metabolomics, metabolic flux assay, single cell RNA sequencing, lineage traced mice, genetically modified animals, and nanoparticle-mediated gene delivery system.
