Anastacia Kudinova, Ph.D. (she/her/hers)

Anastacia is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior and Bradley Hospital. Her program of research focuses on advancing what is known about bio-behavioral mechanisms of self-referential cognitive-affective processes involved in suicide risk and mood disorders across development using multiple-units-of-analysis approach. She enjoys photography, local traveling, home gardening, and restoring old wooden furniture.

Meghan Gonsalves, Ph.D. (she/her/hers)

Meg is a graduate of the Neuroscience Program at Brown University and is currently a postdoc working with Dr. Jennifer Barredo in the Department of Psychiatry of Human Behavior at Brown. Her work primarily focuses on the effects of neuromodulatory devices on neurometabolites and resting state functional connectivity in individuals with treatment resistant depression. In her spare time Meg likes to spend time with her cats and dog, cook, and hike with her dad.

Brynn Chouinard, B.A. (she/her/hers)

Brynn Chouinard graduated with a B.A. in Neuroscience and Behavior from Mount Holyoke College in 2022. She is a Clinical Research Assistant at Bradley Hospital, collaborating on and recruiting for several AMHC studies along with fulfilling clinical roles on the Adolescent Inpatient Unit. She is planning to pursue a PhD in Neuropsychology with focus on current therapeutic effectiveness and alternative therapy influence on verbal and nonverbal communication within the ASD field. She enjoys scenic hikes, baking, and dancing.

Skyler Recel-Chang (she/her/hers)

Skyler is a current student at Brown University, graduating in 2027. She is pursuing a B.S. in Neurobiology and is also interested in Native Hawaiian/Indigenous studies. She is applying her knowledge as a Clinical Research Intern, working in the lab with Dr. Anastacia Kudinova on all ongoing studies. She plans on pursuing an M.D. with a focus on adolescent psychiatry. In her free time, Skyler enjoys surfing, reading, and playing guitar.

Celia Roberto (she/her/hers) 

Celia Roberto graduated from Vanderbilt University in May 2024 with a B.A in Psychology. She is a Clinical Research Assistant with Dr. Anastacia Kudinova on the Teen Mind Study and Teens’ Attitudes Toward Self Study. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a focus on teen suicide prevention and risk. In her free time, Celia enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her friends and family.

Megan Talikoff (she/her/hers)

Meg is a Brown University undergraduate concentrating in Psychology. She’ll be working for Dr. Kudinova as a research intern and senior thesis student for the 2024-25 academic year. She is interested in pursuing a graduate degree in clinical psychology, with the ultimate goal of specializing in adolescent OCD. In addition to clinical psychology, Meg is passionate about journalism—in her free time, she freelances and contributes to a few on-campus publications.

Sarah graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University with a degree in Psychology in May 2021. She worked as a Clinical Research Assistant with Dr. Sarah Thomas on the Teen Decision-Making Study and Dr. Anastacia Kudinova on the Teens’ Attitudes Toward Self Study. Her research interests include adolescent suicide and self-harm thoughts and behaviors, anxiety and depression. She is an incoming doctoral student at the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium at Palo Alto University.

Ariel Stallings graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California Los Angeles in May 2021 with a B.A in Psychology and a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology. She worked as a Clinical Research Assistant with Dr. Anastacia Kudinova on the Teens’ Sleep and Social Media Study and the Teens’ Attitudes Toward Self Study. She plans to attend law school to become a Family Law Attorney. She enjoys running, making healthy recipes, and walking her dog, Bailey.

Zaharah graduated from the University of Southern California in December 2021 with a B.A. in Psychology and Global Studies. As a former Clinical Research Assistant at Bradley Hospital, she worked on numerous recruiting studies. She is currently a Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at Penn State University working with Yo Jackson, Ph.D., at the Child Maltreatment Solutions Network.

Ella graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavior in May 2022. She is a Clinical Research Assistant at the Center for Sleep and Circadian Rhythms in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, working with Dr. Kudinova on the Teens’ Sleep and Social Media Study. She is an incoming doctoral student in the Clinical Science in Child and Adolescent Psychology Program at Florida International University.

Stefanie Sequeira, Ph.D. (she/her/hers)

Stefanie completed her residency in Child  Clinical Psychology at the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior and Bradley Hospital. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Virginia. Her research focuses on integrating multiple methods to understand how social threat and reward processes develop during adolescence and confer risk for anxiety disorders and suicide. Francesca is currently an undergraduate Psychology major at the University of Rhode Island graduating in 2023.
