Amy Palumbo, B.S.
Amy Palumbo graduated from Bridgewater State University Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Psychology in May 2023, also earning departmental honors in Psychology. Amy works as a Senior Psychology Assistant on the Adolescent Inpatient Unit at Bradley Hospital with Dr. Jennifer Wolff on the STEP study. Amy has gone on to pursue a Masters in Research Psychology at UMass Dartmouth. Amy’s research interests include parent mental health and parenting styles, trauma, and low-income influence on child development.
Sydney Goldstein, B.S.
Sydney Goldstein graduated from Northwestern University in March 2023. She works as a Senior Psychology Assistant on the Adolescent Inpatient Unit at Bradley Hospital with Dr. Jennifer Wolff and Dr. Katie Affleck. Sydney has gone on to pursue a PhD in Clinical Science in Child and Adolescent Psychology at Florida International University. Her research interests include youth suicide risk and prevention.
Hailey Coons, B.A.
Hailey graduated with a B.A in Psychology from the University of North Carolina in 2020. She worked as a Psychology Assistant on the Adolescent Inpatient Unit at Bradley Hospital with Dr. Katie Affleck and Dr. Jennifer Wolf. Hailey is particularly interested in the diagnosis and treatment of mood and neurodevelopmental disorders in pediatric populations. In her free time, Hailey enjoys yoga, walks in nature, and recipe testing in the hopes that she will find the ultimate chocolate-chip cookie recipe.
Brynn Chouinard, B.A.
Brynn Chouinard graduated with a B.A. in Neuroscience and Behavior from Mount Holyoke College in 2022. She was a Clinical Research Assistant at Bradley Hospital, collaborating on and recruiting for several AMHC studies along with fulfilling clinical roles on the Adolescent Inpatient Unit. She plans to pursue a PhD in Neuropsychology with focus on current therapeutic effectiveness and alternative therapy influence on verbal and nonverbal communication within the ASD field.
Micaela Maron, B.S.
Micaela Maron graduated with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Behavior from the University of Notre Dame in May 2021. She worked with Dr. Jennifer Wolff as a Research Assistant for the Center for Sleep and Circadian Rhythms in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Micaela has gone on to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology at George Mason University. Her research interests include suicidality in children and adolescents, childhood trauma, and risk/protective factors for suicidality in these populations.
Sarah Ryan, B.A.
Sarah Ryan graduated from Brown University in May 2021. She worked as a Research Assistant with Dr. Sarah Thomas and Dr. Anastacia Kudinova on their respective studies. Sarah has gone on to pursue a PsyD with Palo Alto University – Stanford PsyD Consortium.
Ella Diab, B.S.
Ella graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavior in May 2022. She was a Clinical Research Assistant at the Center for Sleep and Circadian Rhythms in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Ella has gone on to pursue a PhD in Clinical Science in Child and Adolescent Psychology at Florida International University. Her research interests include adolescent substance use and social media use.
Sydney Velotta, B.S.
Sydney Velotta graduated from The Ohio State University in May 2021. She worked as a Clinical Research Assistant with Drs. Anthony Spirito and Jennifer Wolff on their respective studies. Sydney has gone on to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Duke University. Her research interests include the roles of trauma and minority stressors on suicidality among LGBTQIA+ adolescents and young adults.
Ariel Stallings, B.A.
Ariel Stallings graduated from the University of California Los Angeles in May 2021 with a B.A in Psychology and a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology. She was a Clinical Research assistant with Dr. Anastacia Kudinova on the Teens’ Sleep and Social Media Study and the Teens’ Attitudes Toward Self Study.
Danae Papadea, M.A.
Danae Papadea received a B.A. in Psychology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece in 2021, and an M.A. from The American University in Washington, D.C. in 2023. She worked with Dr. Elizabeth Thompson as a Clinical Research Assistant on early psychosis studies.
Molly Test, B.S.
Molly graduated from Oregon State University in 2020 and worked as an RA for two years in a neurobiology lab at Brown before joining the AMHC. She then worked with Dr. Jennifer Wolff and Dr. Tony Spirito on their studies related to suicidality in adolescents and young adults. She has gone on to pursue a PhD in the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Organismal Biology at Brown University.
Sophia Sodano, B.S.
Sophia graduated from Pennsylvania State University and worked within the AMHC under Dr. Jennifer Wolff and Dr. Katelyn Affleck. She has gone on to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Eastern Michigan University.
Zaharah Zaidi
Zaharah graduated from University of Southern California before joining the AMHC. She has gone on to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Pennsylvania State University.
Emma DeMartino, B.S.
Emma graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After her time within the AMHC, Emma has gone on to pursue a Masters of Social Work at UNC-CH.
