Micaela Maron, B.S. 

Micaela Maron graduated with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Behavior from the University of Notre Dame in May 2021. She is working with Dr. Jennifer Wolff as a Research Assistant for the Bradley Hospital COBRE Center for Sleep and Circadian Rhythms in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Micaela is planning to pursue a PhD in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, with a research interest focusing on early childhood adversity, resilience, and emotional regulation in high acuity populations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sarah Ryan, B.A. 

Sarah Ryan graduated from Brown University in May 2021. She is working as a Research Assistant with Dr. Sarah Thomas and Dr. Anastacia Kudinova on their respective studies. She is interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a focus on adolescent mental health, especially related to suicide, anxiety and depression.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ella Diab, B.S.

Ella graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavior in May 2022. She is a Clinical Research Assistant at the Center for Sleep and Circadian Rhythms in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. She is interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a focus on substance use, social media, and adolescent mental health. In her free time, she enjoys reading books, going for walks around Providence, and visiting her friends and family.

 

 

 

 

 

Sydney Velotta, B.S.

Sydney Velotta graduated from The Ohio State University in May 2021. She works as a Clinical Research Assistant with Drs. Anthony Spirito and Jennifer Wolff on their respective studies. She plans on pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology and has a particular interest in examining suicidality in sexual and gender minority youth and how we can adapt current empirically supported psychosocial interventions to address minority stressors.

 

 

 

 

 


Ariel Stallings, B.A. 

Ariel Stallings graduated from the University of California Los Angeles in May 2021 with a B.A in Psychology and a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology. She is a Clinical Research assistant with Dr. Anastacia Kudinova on the Teens’ Sleep and Social Media Study and the Teens’ Attitudes Toward Self Study. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a focus on promoting resilience among adolescents who have experienced trauma. She enjoys running, making healthy recipes, and walking her dog, Bailey.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Danae Papadea, M.A. 

Danae Papadea received a B.A. in Psychology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece in 2021, and an M.A. from The American University in Washington, D.C. in 2023. She is working with Dr. Elizabeth Thompson as a Clinical Research Assistant on early psychosis studies. She is interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a focus on identification of risk factors and biomarkers in the development of psychosis, from early childhood to young adulthood.

 

 

 

 

 

Molly Test, B.S.

Molly graduated from Oregon State University in 2020 and worked as an RA for two years in a neurobiology lab at Brown before joining the AMHC. She works with Dr. Jennifer Wolff and Dr. Tony Spirito on their studies related to suicidality in adolescents and young adults. She plans to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology, with an interest in anxiety and mood disorders, and in women’s mental health outcomes related to changing biological factors through the lifespan.
