This course introduces concepts and implementation of deep learning techniques for computational science and engineering problems to first or second year graduate students. This course entails various methods, including theory and implementation of deep learning techniques to solve a broad range of problems using scientific machine learning. Lectures and tutorials on Python, Tensorflow, PyTorch and JAX are also included. Students will understand the underlying theory and mathematics of deep learning; analyze and synthesize data in order to model physical, chemical, biological, and engineering systems; and apply physics-informed neural networks and neural operators to model and simulate multiphysics systems.
