Serra received a BA in Human Biology from Stanford, a PhD in Psychology from NYU, and completed her postdoctoral training at Columbia. Her research focuses on the neural basis of human memory, with a particular interest in understanding how memory traces are shaped to support adaptive behavior. Outside of the lab, she enjoys gardening, pie, and hanging out with her border collie.

Jae is interested in how the brain represents memories of networks, and also networks of memories. When not thinking about science, Jae enjoys playing the banjo (badly), going on long aimless walks, and rereading Jane Austen novels for the nth time.

Futing is interested in how experiences are transformed into memory and how memories change with time and experience. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, watching movies, and exploring new restaurants.

Daniel’s research interests revolve around the application of statistical learning at the intersection between computational neuroscience and computational cognitive science. Outside of lab work, he enjoys photography, reading, and skiing.
