Sojourner House:

Sojourner House is a non-profit organization founded in 1976 that provides both  advocacy and resources for survivors of domestic abuse in Rhode Island. They also work to bring attention to HIV/AIDS prevention, LGBTQ+ partner abuse, and elder abuse. There is an entire specialized service unit for LGBTQ+ survivors of domestic abuse.

Day One:

Day One works to reduce sexual abuse and violence, as well as uplifting survivors. Day One is the only agency in Rhode Island that is specifically designed to deal with issues of sexual assault as a community concern. They provide advocacy, treatment, intervention, education, and more. They are also dedicated to comprehensive, caring LGBTQ+ care, and also are recognized by Blue Cross Blue Shield as an LGBTQ+ safe zone.

Elizabeth Buffum Chase Center:

Working in the community for the past 40 years, the EBC center has numerous resources. They work with all survivors, including LGBTQ+ individuals. They are a member of the RI Coalition against Domestic Violence and have continued to open locations to further assist.
