Proper Acknowledgment:
The above copyright notice essentially says RELAB Public data can be used freely except for any commercial purposes or product. A copyright tag should go with the data so its origin doesn’t get lost when passed from hand to hand.
When any data from the RELAB Public Database are used or presented in a research presentation, document, or publication, the PI and the source of the data should be acknowledged. A typical acknowledgment would include: “This research utilizes spectra acquired by <investigator’s name(s)> with the NASA RELAB facility at Brown University.”
Please send the RELAB Operator Takahiro Hiroi reference information for any publication resulting from the use of RELAB data so it can be included in the RELAB bibliography available on the web.
