The Trans-Led Care Study
Brown University is developing a gender-affirming, wellness program for transgender people of all identities who drink alcohol, use other drugs, or have been in recovery — all pathways welcome.
This program is community-led, based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (or ACT), and focused on stigma, substance use, and sexual health. To continue improving and tailoring the program for the community, we would love your participation and feedback!
If you're eligible and agree to participate, you'll attend an online 10-week group with 10-15 other transgender adults, complete baseline and follow-up surveys, and participate in an exit interview. Group sessions run on Thursdays from 8-9:30 PM ET / 5-6:30PM PT from March 28th to May 30th.
