Jamelle Watson-Daniels

Jamelle Watson-Daniels received a combined degree in Physics and Africana Studies from Brown University and is a PhD Candidate in Applied Math at Harvard. She is a Ford Foundation Pre-doctoral Fellow and NSF Graduate Research Fellow. Jamelle’s research focuses on developing fair and trustworthy machine learning methods. She also organizes community-based work by supporting data literacy efforts, data storytelling and data science promoting social policy innovation.
