Xiaohe Shen is a 2nd year PhD student in Physics at Brown University. She works on the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment with Professor Greg Landsberg. She graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in Physics and a minor in Mathematics. The curiosity about the fundamental questions like “what is the origin of the universe” drives her to the field of high energy experiment, where she can get closer to the answers to the most fundamental questions about the world with the help of powerful modern techniques.
