baby and caretakerWhat is the Hassenfeld Study?

The purpose of this study is to improve the health of children. With your participation, the information that we gather may help us identify factors that affect child health. This is an observational study, which means you will not be asked to change what you normally do or be asked to take any medicines or drugs. This study is a longitudinal study, which means that we will follow women and their infants for at least five years after delivery.

What will I need to do if I participate in this study?

If you are interested in participating in the study, you will need to read and sign a form, which says you agree to join the study. We will ask you to answer questions about yourself, your health, and your pregnancy. We will contact you each year around your child’s birthday to ask you more questions about you and your child.
