The New England Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC), in collaboration with AdCare Educational Institute of New England and the New England Prevention Technology Transfer Center (PTTC), is pleased to present the Leadership Development Program (LDP) of New England for addiction professionals from across the continuum of care. This program will focus on key leadership skills using a range of learning methods to effectively incorporate best leadership practices. These methods include the use of a learning community, intact small group work to experience team development, ongoing feedback from peers and trainers, role plays, learning partners, and case studies.
The LDP is designed to allow each participant to learn and develop their leadership skills as quickly and effectively as possible. Leadership development for each participant is guided by each participant’s professional leadership development goals and their desire to experiment with new behaviors. Every effort is made to provide a safe learning environment that allows each leadership program participant to reach their leadership development goals.
This 10th cohort will be offered as a Hybrid program, which has been carefully designed to balance the traditional in-person (F2F) training model with the virtual format thus maintaining the interactive curriculum that is crucial to leadership development and accommodating the needs and challenges we all face in the current global crisis. At the moment the proposed in-person location is in Concord, NH, and Worcester, MA.
