August 2022 – Our paper “Shining a light on SSP4: a comprehensive analysis and biological applications for the detection of sulfane sulfurs” is published in Redox Biology. Another paper “Intramolecular tetrazine-acryloyl cycloaddition: chemistry and applications” is published in Chemical Science.

July 2022 – Dr. Xian is appointed as the Jesse H. Metcalf endowed Chair.

May 2022 – our paper ‘Benzothiazole-derived sulfones and sulfoxides as reactive templates for biothiols and sulfane sulfurs’ is published in Org. Lett. Another paper ‘C-Nitrosothioformamide: a donor template for dual Release of HNO and H2S’ is published in ChemBioChem. It is featured as the front cover!

Our review article “Fluorescent probes for H2S detection: cyclization-based approaches” is accepted by the book “Hydrogen Sulfide: Chemical Biology Basics, Detection Methods, Therapeutic Applications, and Case Studies”, Wiley Series in Drug Discovery and Development.
