Honors in Music Thesis:
- Don’t Let Me Run
My thesis is a 9-track singer-songwriter album. I workshopped the songs through the fall, and started recording in November. November through January I did the bulk of my recording, which involved recording my work and arranging it as well. I began mixing in January too, using my preferred DAW (Apple Logic Pro). In April I finished mixing and decided to make basic masters of my songs using the mastering program iZotope in conjunction with Logic Pro. Also in April, I created a mockup cover art and lyrics insert for a prospective album release. The songs on the album explore humanity and solitude in the alternative folk genre.
